HISTORIC PRESERVATION

Our Philosophy
Able City believes architecture directly affects the environment – the citizens, the city, the culture, the history, and the economy. That’s why Able City designs buildings that enrich the urban fabric, preserve historic character, are sensitive to the human scale, and create a sense of place, pride, and safety in our communities. We work to connect people and resources to tackle the most pressing challenges. We do this by creating connected spaces and communities and advocating for a better quality of life.
Able City’s purpose is to preserve and protect the unique historic structures, archaeological sites, and design features of our community. Able City has vast experience in historic preservation, renovation, and restoration review and application process, including designation applications and tax credit applications.
Our mission is to lead in the creation of places that enable and inspire people to reach the full realization of their cities. We do this by being excellent listeners and catalyzing productive feedback loops. We implement project processes, and management and illustration techniques that ensure the clear communication of ideas.
