Bio
Claudio Leon graduated in 2004 with a B.Arch. from the University of Houston. He worked as an architectural project manager for several years, from 2005 to 2012, where he gained a wealth of design and project management experience in various building typologies, including airport, industrial and healthcare type facilities. During this time, he also provided international project management support for Industrial projects located along the US-Mexico border. Later in 2014, he successfully completed his MSc. degree at the Cologne University of Applied Sciences in Germany in the field of environmental sciences with a focus on renewable energy systems. Since then, he gained experience in the field of sustainable building design, and particularly in the area of Whole Building Energy Simulation. By 2022, Mr. Leon was the Sustainability Lead for AECOM in Germany managing all aspects of building design and project management for the Buildings + Places Department.
