    Bio


    Oscar Olvera is currently an Architectural Designer with Able City and an Adjunct Instructor at Texas Southmost College (TSC) in the Lower Rio Grande Valley – in the cities of McAllen and Brownsville respectively. He has supported [bc] Workshop in the past with the MiCASiTA program along with other custom design homes in partnership with Come Dream. Come Build. (CDCB). As an Adjunct Instructor Oscar has supported Texas Southmost College with Architectural Graphics courses and seeks to strengthen the program through exterior connections and organizations.

     

    As a Rio Grande Valley local, Oscar grew up volunteering, learning, and working for local museums and organizations. Through his beginning career as an educator and practitioner, he seeks to strengthen the existing architecture program, strengthen connections with local stakeholders, and bring access to those who are pursuing an architecture career and education in the Rio Grande Valley. With this work, Oscar seeks to improve the livability and bring access to design services across the region of South Texas.
