Economic Development Certification

Viviana Frank, a founding principal of Able City, a Planning, Architecture, and Urban Design Company, graduated from the University of Oklahoma Economic Development Institute,OU EDI, on October 24, 2019.

OU EDI is an intensive program which provides a broad spectrum of advanced education for the economic development professional. Mary Ann Moon, Dean, said, “These OU EDI graduates represent some of the finest economic development practitioners in the U.S. working to support their local communities. My congratulations to them.”

The program focuses on three major core areas: Business Retention, Expansion and Attraction, Real Estate, and Credit Analysis, as well as areas of concentration in Marketing, Strategic Planning, and Entrepreneurship, and Management of Economic Development Organizations.

With Viviana’s guidance, Able City will continue to work with public, private, academic and philanthropic organizations, and citizen advocates to adopt these core economic development tools towards the development of Quality of Place.
