Summary

The philosophy and mission of the Health Science Departments are parallel to that of the college. The Health Science Programs are committed to preparing graduates that are ready to meet the responsibilities required of an entry-level healthcare professional. The new Laredo Community College Health Science Center will serve its students, faculty, and community as a state of the art facility located at the Laredo Community College South Campus.

The building is organized around a centralized lobby that allows easy access between departments while at the same time giving each department its autonomy. The proposed outdoor courtyard can be used for both student and community activities including class instructions, lectures, and public health fairs.
